Recalling a classic era of rail travel, the grand Tsar's Gold Private Train is also equipped with many modern air-conditioned facilities, making for a truly memorable on-board experience.
The beautifully appointed train has four restaurant cars, which serve both traditional Russian and international cuisine. They also operate as a bar/lounge in the evenings, offering a wonderfully sociable atmosphere.
We include accommodation in Superior cabins, which sleep two people in single lower berths. These convert into sofas during the day, with a table below the window. There are nine cabins per car, with shared washroom facilities at the end of each carriage.
Upgrades are available to the recently refurbished Superior Plus cabins. These are laid out in the same style as Superior cabins but are slightly larger in size, with eight cabins per car. Shared washroom facilities are available at the end of each carriage.
Upgrades are also available to Nostalgic Comfort cabins, which sleep two people in an upper and lower berth. These larger cabins also feature an additional compartment with armchairs to maximise the views of the passing scenery. Two compartments share one small lavatory with a wash basin and wet-room style shower facility between every two cabins. Extra washroom facilities are also available at the end of each carriage.
