Launched in Spring 2006, Viking Helvetia is one of the largest passenger cruise ships on the Rhine. It is air-conditioned and tastefully furnished throughout.
The ship's facilities include a restaurant, lounge, bar, gift shop, library and a laundry. Viking Helvetia also benefits from a large sun deck, ideal for sightseeing between ports of call. There is a daily entertainment programme including music, dancing, folklore and lectures.
Dining on board is a particular highlight, with a selection of regional and international dishes freshly prepared by on-board chefs. Enjoy a buffet breakfast, three-course or buffet lunch, afternoon tea and pastries and a four-course dinner. Dress for dinner is smart casual; more formal attire may be required for the Welcome and Farewell dinners.
Viking Helvetia has 99 cabins. Our Category D Deluxe cabins are situated on the main deck feature a twin/double bed, a half-height picture window, television, hairdryer, shower and WC. Upgrades to higher grades of cabin are available.
