The moment you step aboard the vessel you are surrounded by rich mahogany finishes in the reception area and lobby. The Bar & Lounge are located on the top deck, affording magnificent views of the surrounding scenery, before leading to the forward teak-clad viewing area. Inside, the bar is warm and welcoming with plenty of sofas to relax on. There is a small dance and entertainment area where local artistes give regular performances.
Every cabin has been tastefully furnished and includes double or twin beds, a dressing table, a hairdryer, trouser press, satellite TV, individually controlled air-conditioning/heating, safe deposit box, music system, internal telephone and ensuite facilities. In addition to the suitcase storage under the beds, there is a full-size wardrobe. All cabins are outside facing with most offering a large picture window (otherwise two large portholes).
The splendid restaurant accommodates up to 60 diners in one sitting. Tables are set with the finest blue and gold linen, Villeroy Boch cutlery and crockery, together with finest French crystal. The cuisine makes excellent use of the bountiful local produce with fresh food delivered daily. The all-round picture windows provide excellent views while you dine.
The day begins with a full Scottish breakfast, including eggs, bacon, tomatoes, black pudding, haggis, porridge, toast, fresh bread, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and coffee or tea. Throughout the day, guests on board can take advantage of the complimentary hot beverages bar.
The dress code for all meals on board is 'smart-casual', although a jacket is preferred for formal receptions at the start and end of the cruise.
