Launched in 2003, MS Oosterdam is an elegant, sophisticated ship which, despite its size, has a friendly, intimate atmosphere.
The leisure facilities are wide ranging and impressive: there is an exterior promenade deck with sun loungers, a jogging track, swimming pools and jacuzzis. The ship has two entertainment decks including several boutiques, a library, card room, art gallery and a casino. There is also a large health spa offering a range of facilities, therapies and treatments. Evening entertainment is provided. The ship has a number of lifts giving access to the various decks.
Meals are taken in the Vista Dining Room. There are also a number of other dining options - from fast food to the upscale Pinnacle Grill. Dress for dinner depends upon the restaurant. Formal nights require a dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies.
The ship has 925 cabins in total. Our standard cabins in 'D' category are modern and relatively spacious with features including television, two lower beds convertible to a queen-size bed and shower. Upgrades to larger cabins with a balcony are available.
