The 4-star MS Belvedere is a fantastic three-deck river cruise ship that benefits from a range of facilities, superb on-board service and delicious meals throughout the day.
The impeccable public areas of the ship include a fabulous glass-domed reception and a relaxing wellness area which includes a Jacuzzi, sauna and fitness room with gym equipment. The spacious sun deck on the top deck of the ship has sun loungers where you can spend relaxing afternoons enjoying the sunshine and passing scenery. You can spend time during the day in the peace of the Panorama Lounge or in the comfortable, quiet reading room and games area. You can also choose to keep in contact with the outside world by taking advantage of services on offer in the internet café.
As you step on board for the first time you'll be escorted to your cabin, where you will have time to settle in and unpack. In the evening you will be invited to the ship's welcome reception for a complimentary cocktail and an introduction to the staff on the MS Belvedere, as well as a chance to learn more about the daily programme of activities and entertainment, the daily routine on board, and the superb facilities available to you.
During your time on board MS Belvedere, meals are a huge and delightful part of the holiday experience, eagerly anticipated every day.
Breakfast begins as early as you choose to rise, with the MS Belvedere's early-bird breakfast, which includes a light choice of items to help yourself to, including tea or coffee. Once the main breakfast service begins, you can enjoy a lavish breakfast buffet, with fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, continental breads and pastries, cold meats and cheese, a selection of hot options, fruit juices and tea or coffee.
For lunch you'll enjoy a choice of options from the varying daily menu, with full table service by the superb on-board waiting staff. If we are on board the MS Belvedere during the afternoon, a delectable afternoon tea is served on board, with a selection of freshly made cakes and pastries to tempt you. However, on days where the afternoon is spent on a shore excursion, afternoon tea is replaced by a late night snack.
Every evening on board MS Belvedere we dine together, in one sitting, to enjoy a delicious dinner, with table service and a choice of options for every course. On most evenings the dress code is 'casual elegance', although evening wear is requested for the captain's dinner and farewell dinner.
Tea and coffee are available throughout your time on board at no extra cost.
Our accommodation is in a Moselle Deck (lower deck) forward cabin. The cabins have en suite facilities with a shower, and feature individually controlled air-conditioning, satellite TV, radio, phone, safe and hairdryer.
Upgrades are available to the Rhine Deck (middle deck) & Danube Deck (upper deck), which enjoy the benefit of a French balcony with sliding doors. Danube Deck suites are bigger in size, with a separate seating area as well as a French balcony with sliding doors.
