The superb MS Bellejour, launched in 2004, offers fantastic facilities, fine dining and spacious cabins - ensuring a great experience cruising the waterways of Europe.
The 3-deck ship has many of its leisure amenities on the uppermost deck, such as its panoramic restaurant and lounge bar. These public areas have floor-to-ceiling windows, maximising both the natural light and the passing scenery. There are also promenades leading out from this deck, allowing passengers to relax and enjoy the climate (weather permitting). Other facilities include a fitness centre with a sauna, whirlpool and gym equipment.
During your time on board the MS Bellejour meals are a huge and delightful part of the holiday experience, eagerly anticipated throughout the journey.
Breakfast begins as early as you choose to rise, with breads, pastries, tea and coffee on offer. Once the main breakfast service begins, you can also expect to find cereals and yoghurts, and a selection of hot options, plus fruit juices and tea or coffee.
For lunch you'll enjoy a choice of options from the varying daily menu, with full table service by the superb on-board waiting staff. If we are on board the MS Bellejour during the afternoon, a delectable afternoon tea is served on board, with a selection of freshly made cakes and pastries to tempt you. However, on days where the afternoon is spent on a shore excursion, afternoon tea is replaced by a late night snack.
Every evening on board the MS Bellejour we dine together in one sitting, to enjoy a delicious dinner, with table service and a choice of options for every course. On most evenings the dress code is 'casual elegance', although evening wear is requested for the captain's dinner and farewell dinner. All of the meals consist of locally-sourced ingredients wherever possible, and are freshly prepared by the team of chefs on board.
Our accommodation is on the Moselle Deck. The smartly furnished, spacious cabins feature individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and include an ensuite with shower. Other amenities include a telephone, television, safe, minibar and a hairdryer. Upgrades are available to a cabin on the Rhine Deck and Danube Deck.
