Public Rooms & Facilities
The vessel's many amenities include a fitness room, a heated pool and massage spa. The main panorama bar and lounge has floor to ceiling windows, comfortable seating, a complimentary tea/coffee station and a piano, and offers nightly entertainment and a dance floor. The large Sun Deck has plenty of loungers on which to relax and admire the unimpeded views of the magnificent Douro scenery, and there is a lift between some decks.
Dining on board is a truly superb experience. Lavish gourmet breakfast buffets, including a rich assortment of pastries, fresh fruit or something more traditional are followed by mouthwatering lunches including homemade soups, a selection of main courses and desserts. In the evening, you will enjoy a four course dinner or a traditional theme night with a range of regional specialities and wines, as well as various onshore dinners as described. Breakfasts and lunches are casual, and dinner can be either a casual al fresco affair on the Sun Deck, or a more formal, waiter served single sitting. There are Captain's Welcome and Farewell Receptions where a jacket for men and ladies' equivalent is recommended.
