A division of Great Rail Journeys, UK's leading operator of holidays by rail
The deluxe 5-star ship MS Amacello offers state-of-the-art public rooms and elegant cabins, which, combined with included excursions, quality cuisine and wine with dinner, will make your cruise memorable.
Dining
Dining on board is a truly superb experience. Lavish gourmet
breakfast buffets, including a rich assortment of pastries, fresh
fruit or something more traditional are followed by mouthwatering
lunches including homemade soups, a selection of main courses and
desserts. In the evening, you will enjoy a four course dinner with
choices or a traditional theme night with a range of complimentary
regional specialities and wines. Whilst breakfasts and lunches are
casual, dinner is slightly more formal being waiter served and
single sitting. There are Captain's Welcome and Farewell Receptions
where a jacket for men and ladies' equivalent is recommended.
Cabins
There are 74 exquisitely decorated cabins offering all the
amenities of a fine hotel with plush white-on-white bedding, a
sitting area, hairdryer, safe, terry bathrobes, individually
controlled air conditioning and ample wardrobe space. The cabins
have either twin or double beds and the cabins on the violin and
cello decks have full length french windows. All cabins include an
in-built entertainment system which provides music, films, TV and
internet access.
Please note: Unlike its sister ships, the MS Amacello does not have an A+ cabin on the Violin Deck.
Public Rooms & Facilities
The vessel's many amenities include a beautifully designed
wellness area, a fitness room, massage and beauty salon. The aft
lounge offers modern furnishings and French doors for you to enjoy
the fresh river air. The main panorama bar and lounge has
comfortable sofas and chairs and offers nightly entertainment and a
dance floor. The ship also boasts a convenient lift between some
decks. The large Sun Deck has plenty of loungers upon which to
relax, an outdoor whirlpool and a jogging track. Bicycles are
available for you to use, free of charge, so that you may explore
independently.
