Embark on your Canadian rail adventure today as you board the award-winning Rocky Mountaineer. You begin your journey from Vancouver to Kamloops passing through some simply stunning landscapes of rolling rivers, weaving in and out of the Coast and Cascade Mountains and roaring through the sinisterly-named Hell's Gate in Fraser Canyon. On arrival into the town of Kamloops, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Leaving Kamloops this morning, join Rocky Mountaineer once more as you head towards the magnificent Canadian Rockies, passing through gorgeous scenery. Your route sees you pass by the tallest mountain in the range, Mount Robson, as well as the crashing Pyramid Falls. You finish by ascending the wild Yellowhead Pass and stop at Jasper in the heart of the Jasper National Park.
Venture into Jasper National Park today for a guided tour. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Jasper National Park is full of sublime natural attractions of various shapes and sizes including canyons, lakes and hotsprings. Travel to Banff today, navigating one of the finest and most scenic roads in the world - the Icefields Parkway. From here, you are treated to a ride in an Ice Explorer, a special vehicle which takes you out onto the Athabasca Glacier to see this carved ice in all its tremendous glory. Stop overnight in Banff.
Your day today sees you pay a visit to Yoho National Park. Featuring incredible natural monuments and displaying the best of Canada's impressive landscapes, this park is well worth a visit. Enjoy a tour here before continuing on to Lake Louise where you overnight.
Today sees you enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff before heading to Kananaskis, where you take a helicopter tour for a panoramic bird's eye view of the stunning landscapes below. You end your explorations in Calgary tonight, where you spend the night.
