The itinerary for your journey
Tour highlights
Day 1 – London to Cologne

Depart St Pancras International by Eurostar for Brussels. Arriving in the Belgian capital, change high speed trains and continue your journey to Cologne for a three-night stay.

Days 2-3 – Cologne’s Christmas Markets
Christmas Markets

Enjoy the wonderfully festive atmosphere of Christmas time in Cologne over the next two days. The city is Europe's unofficial 'Christmas Market capital', with five Christmas Markets each boasting its own unique character. Festive chalets offer a special selection of gifts, decorations, arts and crafts as well as traditional stalls selling sausages, waffles, wine and beer. Visit the Maritime Market next to the Rhine and the city's Chocolate Museum, the market at Rudolfplatz, held at the Hahnentor city gate, or the market in Roncalliplatz beneath the cathedral, which has the biggest Christmas tree in the Rhineland. A short wander through the Old Town's narrow alleys and squares leads you to the Christmas Market at the Alter Markt, and you can also stroll around Neumarkt which hosts the oldest Christmas Market in Cologne, now themed as the 'Market of Angels'. Cologne Cathedral, located just outside the main station, is also a wonderful sight, especially at this time of year. One of Europe's most premier examples of its kind, the mighty spires looming up high prove this to be a truly awe-inspiring landmark.

Day 4 – Cologne to London

On the final morning of your city break, head back to the station after checking out and catch the train to Brussels. From here return to London on the Eurostar service.

All prices are per person and assume full occupancy of the room.
Please always refer to the website for up-to-date prices and availability.

The high speed Eurostar trains link St Pancras International in London with Paris and Lille in France as well as Brussels in Belgium.

Eurostar's Standard Class coaches feature two seats on either side of the central aisle, most of which is arranged in an 'airline' seating configuration with drop down tray tables. There are two tables for four per carriage. Passengers travelling in Eurostar Standard Class coaches can take advantage of the Bar-Buffet which sells a range of snacks, meals, hot and cold drinks - including Champagne!

The highest class of Eurostar travel available for leisure customers is Standard Premier Class. In your dedicated Standard Premier carriage you'll find a less dense seat configuration, meaning the seats are larger and you have ample space to relax and stretch out. As part of the service you'll enjoy complimentary drinks and refreshments, served at your seat by friendly, helpful waiting staff.
