During this tour we travel by the Chinese rail network's modern high-speed trains. These efficient units with streamlined power cars are all air-conditioned, with well-furnished interiors in 'soft seat' class.
The Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian Express is arguably the best quality of rail travel offered anywhere in the world. This private train offers a standard of accommodation and catering that most rail passengers crossing Russia can only dream of. The train features two beautifully appointed restaurant cars, in which meals freshly prepared by the on board chefs are served accompanied by wine and vodka. There is also a bar car which is an excellent place to relax and get to know your fellow passengers - and in the evening, enjoy the music from the resident pianist.
We include accommodation in Silver Class cabins. These cabins cover 60 square feet (5.5 square metres) and sleep two people in an upper and a lower berth. They feature a wealth of amenities including remote controlled air conditioning and heating, a wardrobe, luggage space, a safe and a DVD/CD player with LCD television screens. Complimentary tea, coffee and mineral water are available in the cabins and towels are provided. There are six cabins per carriage and all Silver Class cabins have private en suite facilities with a 'wet room' style shower, washbasin and WC.
Upgrades are available to Gold Class cabins. These are among the best available in rail travel, with an overall area of 77 square feet (7 square metres). The Gold Class cabins sleep two people in either upper and lower berths or a lower double bed. Facilities include remote controlled air conditioning and heating, luggage space, a wardrobe, a safe and a DVD/CD player with LCD television screens. Complimentary tea, coffee and mineral water are available in the cabins and towels are provided. There are five cabins per carriage and all have a private en suite bathroom with a power shower, underfloor heating, washbasin and WC. All drinks from the Bar Car's Standard Bar List are included for Gold Class passengers.

Recalling a classic era of rail travel, the grand Tsar's Gold Private Train is also equipped with many modern air-conditioned facilities, making for a truly memorable on-board experience.
The beautifully appointed train has four restaurant cars, which serve both traditional Russian and international cuisine. They also operate as a bar/lounge in the evenings, offering a wonderfully sociable atmosphere.
We include accommodation in Superior cabins, which sleep two people in single lower berths. These convert into sofas during the day, with a table below the window. There are nine cabins per car, with shared washroom facilities at the end of each carriage.
Upgrades are available to the recently refurbished Superior Plus cabins. These are laid out in the same style as Superior cabins but are slightly larger in size, with eight cabins per car. Shared washroom facilities are available at the end of each carriage.
Upgrades are also available to Nostalgic Comfort cabins, which sleep two people in an upper and lower berth. These larger cabins also feature an additional compartment with armchairs to maximise the views of the passing scenery. Two compartments share one small lavatory with a wash basin and wet-room style shower facility between every two cabins. Extra washroom facilities are also available at the end of each carriage.
