Itinerary

Day 1 - Vancouver

Fly from London Heathrow to the coastal city and cultural hotspot of Vancouver. Transfer to your hotel for the night.

If you want to explore after your journey, Vancouver offers plenty to choose from. Included is admission to FlyOver Canada, a thrilling multi-sensory journey across Canada aboard the latest in flight ride technology, allowing you to discover the country's most famous sights in a way like no other.

You could also explore the charms of the city's historic Gastown district, or admire the intricately carved First Nations totems in Stanley Park.

Day 2 – Vancouver and The Canadian

You have the morning free to explore more of Vancouver. Options here include brunch at one of the city's many trendy coffee houses, a stroll along the cosmopolitan waterfront or a visit to one of the well-regarded museums and galleries. Or, why not take in stunning views over the city from nearby Grouse Mountain?

In the afternoon, you board the iconic Canadian train for your overnight journey to Jasper, with all meals onboard included. Your comfortable Sleeper Plus cabin offers an ideal place to take in early evening views over the ever-changing British Columbia scenery.

Day 3 - Jasper

As the train continues its journey, spend some time enjoying panoramic views of the Rockies from the observation dome of the Skyline Car, or maybe admire the passing scenery from one of the salons in the Park Car.

Arrive in the mountain town of Jasper where you check into your hotel for the night. The rest of the day is free for you to get to know Jasper at your own pace. Perhaps enjoy the scenic hiking trails, head out further into Jasper National Park to explore or soak up the views from the Jasper Tramway.

Day 4 - Lake Louise

Enjoy a scenic coach ride to Lake Louise, admiring some of Canada's most stunning views along the way. Your journey takes you along the famous Icefields Parkway, with a stop at the Columbia Icefield, where you venture onto the Athabasca Glacier itself via all-terrain vehicle.

From here, continue to pristine Lake Louise. This area just outside of the town of Banff is picture perfect, with snowy peaks crowning the crystal clear, emerald lake of the same name. Check into your hotel for the night and relax, or head out to explore the town a little further.

Day 5 - Banff

Enjoy a free morning to soak up the beauty of Lake Louise before making the journey east to the nearby town of Banff, where you spend the next two nights.

This laid back and historic resort town is known for its hiking, natural hot springs and the stunning national park that surrounds it. With a day free to experience Banff for yourself, you could take advantage of the town's extensive network of walking trails, go for a soak in the hot springs or spend the day leisurely browsing Banff's independent boutiques and enticing eateries.

Day 6 - Banff

Today, you're introduced to Banff National Park's most impressive sights on a guided tour. Take in the Hoodoos, Banff's famously striking towering rock formations, and Surprise Corner, a scenic viewpoint on the Bow River.

Continue to the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, where a cave full of hot mineral spring water is known as the birthplace of Canada's National Parks. You also take a scenic gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain, which offers incredible views across the town of Banff and the National Park beyond.

Day 7 – Calgary to London

Your adventure comes to an end today, as you transfer to Calgary Airport for your flight to London Heathrow.
