From the moment you step aboard this classic touring train an atmosphere of luxury and decadence is everywhere. The lounge car and the observation car are areas for relaxing and watching the scenery drift by, sinking into soft sofas and taking afternoon tea while you rumble on through the landscapes.

Lunch is served back onboard the train as you travel on through the Karoo, once an inland sea and now a semi desert area. A formal dinner is served onboard this evening after which you can relax with a drink in the bar car or cosy up in your cabin.

Day 7 – Kimberley’s Diamond Mines
