Strasbourg offers an enticing blend of French and German culture, and you have some time this morning to take it in. You have free time in Tiefencastel and there's plenty here to discover. The town is nestled within Parc Ela, Switzerland's largest natural park, and there are a number of marked walks nearby, perfect for taking in the scenery at your own pace. In the town, the Swiss heritage-listed Church of St Stefan, dating back to 1343 and adorned with original paintings and wood carvings, is a must-see. • Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4 - St Moritz & the Albula Line

Today you head to the chic resort of St Moritz, soaking up the Alpine views on the way from aboard the UNESCO-listed Albula Railway. The line winds and spirals through steep valleys and dramatic scenery. You arrive in St Moritz, a ski resort known for its stylish boutiques, grand hotels and glamorous cafés, surrounded by soaring mountain peaks and evergreen forests. With free time to explore, you could indulge in a little shopping, pause to sip a cocktail in a bar or join the Diavolezza cable car for breathtaking views over the Mortasch Glacier. On our return journey we stop in Bergün where you are free to visit The Albula Railway Museum if you wish.

  • Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5 - The Bernina Express

Enjoy one of the highlights of your trip, a journey on the spectacular Bernina Express. Admire the scenery as you cross steep ravines and pass dramatic waterfalls and glittering glaciers. Enter the Albula Tunnel, one of the highest tunnels in the Alps, before crossing the Bernina Pass and traversing the famous Brusio Viaduct on the way to Tirano in northern Italy. You have free time in this pretty town; maybe visit the church, Santuario della Beata Vergine di Tirano, with its ornately frescoed interior, or enjoy a taste of Italy with a glass of local Italian wine.

  • Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6 - Chur & the Arosa Line

Take the train to Chur where you join the Arosa Line for a stunning journey that crosses the Langweiser Viaduct, a distinctive bridge spanning a vast, forested gorge. There's time to explore at your own pace.
