Itinerary
We meet at our dedicated Departure Office in London St Pancras today, and board the Eurostar to Paris. We continue by rail to Chambéry, where we spend the night.
On Day 2 we continue to Lake Garda, arriving at the southern end of the lake, where the shores are almost sea-like and lined with inviting beaches. Our destination is the peaceful town of Sirmione, which sits on a peninsula jutting into the lake, surrounded on three sides by the waters of Lake Garda. We spend seven nights at the 4-Star Hotel Continental. Located close to Sirmione's centre, the Hotel Continental offers a wonderful setting by the lake, and the owner, Giovanni, will be on hand to make your time here as enjoyable as possible.

Unfortunately, despite all usual precautions, II caught a bug either in the train or the 'comfort stop' on the second day and was therefore unable to participate in any of the programme visits. The Continental hotel was first class in nearly every respect and the owners most helpful. Sirmione is a delightful medieval town and it was a pleasure to be able to see it and enjoy the lakeside scenery.
