Edinburgh, the Highlands and Islands
Mr Joslin Lewis
“Everything went to plan and the vacation was well described in the advance literature.
Northern England's Industrial Revolution

“very good though wish we could have visited the places longer
Northern England, The Faroe Islands and Iceland

“We both thoroughly enjoyed the vacation. Hotels were great, Linden especially, excellent room and food if a little pricey for drinks but we expected that in a hotel. The Ship was fine but not our personal favourite. Iceland did not disappoint, the sea was calm for the North Atlantic and the weather was sun if a little chilly.
Western Highlands and Hebrides
Mr P Johnson
“Thoroughly enjoyed the round of experiences in this vacation. A bit spoilt by the weather.
Yorkshire and Northumberland
Miss Christine Diwell
“Well organised, attentive tour manager, well spaced varied and interesting program and good hotels
Coastal Cornwall and its Captivating Gardens
Mrs Pauline Lever
“Not the fault of GRJ, missed out on Bodmin Railroad as it was closed.
Highland Adventure

“It was a great trip but nothing is perfect. The hotel was lovely, the staff courteous, the food great and we both felt very safe.
Valleys and Railroads of Mid Wales
Mr Derek Thomas
“Our fifth Great Rail Journey vacation which we enjoyed until the last day which turned into a disaster. Our scheduled visit to Llangollen was changed at the last minute to Aberglasney Gardens and Brecon. We elected to cut our losses and return home after a cold and wet walk around the gardens missing the final evening dinner etc.
