Kandersteg

Located in the fantastic Bernese Highlands, Kandersteg is a delightful summer and winter mountain resort, popular with skiers, hikers, ramblers, cyclists and climbers. Originally just a small farming village, Kandersteg still has only a small permanent population and relies heavily on tourism for the majority of its income. Kandersteg International Scout Centre welcomes more than 12,000 Scouts and Guides from all over the world every year.
