On one side is the Bay of Fairytales, which was named in honour of Hans Christian Andersen, the most famous former resident of Sestri Levante. On the other side of the town is the Bay of Silence, which is also known as Portobello.

“Excellent tour manager and a super group of people. Good hotels and plenty to see along this attractive coast. Only drawback was the length of the train journeys as rather tiring for us older citizens. Overall a holiday that can be recommended.
