Voluntary Living Wage
We believe in paying a fair wage, which is why we are committed to paying the Voluntary Living Wage as the minimum pay rate for permanent members of staff.
Annual Discretionary Bonus Scheme
We like to reward our staff for their hard work towards the growth of our company. At the end of every financial year, if the company has exceeded its targets for the preceding year, all eligible staff receive a financial bonus.
All new starters receive 20 days' holiday plus the normal bank holidays.
Three extra days are awarded after three years' service and a further 2 extra days after five years' service to a maximum of 25 day's holiday plus the normal bank holidays.
Death in Service
All permanent members of staff are covered by a Death in Service benefit from commencement of service which is 2 x basic salary.
We will automatically enter employees into a pension scheme which is currently 1% contribution by Great Rail Journeys and 1% contribution by the employee.
The Company also offers a voluntary enhanced scheme under which the employee will contribute a minimum of 3% and the Company will contribute a set 2%.
Company Sick Pay
After completing six months' permanent employment with the Company, in the event that employees are absent from work due to sickness, the Company pays full basic salary up to 7 working days in any rolling 12-month period.
