Itinerary
Your fall foliage adventure begins today in Boston, a city whose history is only matched by its ambiance. The capital of Massachusetts is considered the "Birthplace of the American Revolution" and has many sites that recall America's past. As you arrive today, make your own way to our downtown hotel, conveniently located on the Back Bay, to check in for the night.
The afternoon is then yours to get acquainted with your new surroundings, and you may wish to take an Old Town Trolley tour (payable locally) to get acquainted with the city and see its most impressive sights. Return to the hotel early this evening to meet the Tour Manager and your travel group for a brief meeting, and then you are free to find dinner at your choice of local restaurants. Overnight Boston, MA.

A picturesque journey through cranberry bogs and salt marshes is presented from the historic rails of the Cape Cod Central Railroad. This railway follows a 27-mile roundtrip course through scenic Cape Cod. Most trips on this line begin in Hyannis and feature stops in West Barnstable and Sandwich, the oldest village in Cape Cod. Select excursions venture even further, presenting Buzzards Bay and the fantastic Cape Cod Canal. The Cape Cod Central Railroad features casual daytime sightseeing journeys and elegant dining train options.

Services began running from North Conway in the early 1870s, but passenger trains ceased in 1961. However, it re-opened as a tourist railway in 1974, now offering two main routes from the imposing station, a listed building. Passengers can enjoy the Mount Washington Valley countryside and surrounding White Mountains on journeys between Conway and North Conway. The other route takes passengers through Crawford Notch, where more panoramic mountain vistas can be seen. The Conway Scenic Railroad offers a range of luxury rolling stock, such as the observation car, and a Pullman.
