Glacier National Park Tours
The "Crown of the Continent," Glacier National Park is an
American classic that left early conservationists so enthralled
that in 1910, President Taft declared Glacier America's 10th
national park. Located in Montana's Big Sky Country, this treasured land
spans more than one million acres of theatrical terrain and
features sparkling rivers, dramatic mountains and thundering
waterfalls. A true hallmark of the park, though, is its namesake:
glaciers. There are 26 of these massive sheets of ice throughout
the park.
In the beginning, people traveled on the Great Northern Railway
to seek adventure in Glacier National Park; today, travelers seek
these same thrills aboard Amtrak's Empire Builder, which travels
directly to the park. Our tour packages make use of this direct
access, taking guests on beautiful routes from Chicago or Seattle
into the vast expanses of Montana before stationing mere steps from
the entrance of Glacier National Park. While in the park, enjoy
comfortable lodge accommodations and a variety of self-guided
activities and ranger-led excursions that highlight the immense
beauty of these protected lands.
