Weisseritz Valley Railway

Running between Freital and Kipsdorf, the Weisseritz Valley Railway, also known as the 'Weuseritztalbahn' is the oldest running public narrow gauge railway in Germany, opening 135 years ago, in 1882. The line winds through the lovely verdant forests of the Rabenauer Grund valley, before running alongside the Weisseritz River, a beautiful shimmering waterway from which the line takes its name.
