Grand Suites

The ultimate in modern luxury, three spacious Grand Suites offer a sumptuous setting, with plenty of space to relax and unwind, a plush double bed, marble dining table and ensuite bathroom with shower. The contemporary opulence of the Britannic Explorer continues into this very special accommodation as each suite features its own unique English country garden themed décor. Practicality meets style with full length mirror, long hanging wardrobe and sofa storage drawers. Personal butler service, a complimentary spa treatment and optional in-cabin private dining all add to the experience.

Suites

Stunning suite cabins offer a cosy haven on your journey. Décor featuring work by English artist Luke Edward Hall reflect the Great British countryside and coastlines that passes by your large window. Suites effortlessly transform from a comfortable place to relax in the day with soft banquette seating, to a peaceful plush double bedroom to rest your head at night. With the choice of Double and Twin options, both complete with ensuite bathrooms and fold-out table and stool, you will find the perfect configuration to suit your needs.

Dining on board the Britannic Explorer

Two restaurant dining cars, Malva and Samphire, with their English country garden inspired décor, set the scene for a unique dining experience - one sure to be a highlight of your journey onboard the Britannic Explorer.

Catering to your gastronomic needs onboard is a culinary team led by Executive Head Chef Sven Hanson-Britt, former MasterChef The Professionals winner. Together with chef Simon Rogan, owner of Michelin starred restaurants (including l'Enclume in the Lake District), they have created a menu in line with his farm-to-fork ethos. À la carte offerings use the finest local ingredients, each bespoke to the area. Picture yourself passing the wild Cornish coastline, the lush greenery of the Lakes and the mountainous landscapes of Wales as you savour the regional ingredients that take centre stage in each dish. From classic evening breakfasts to delicious evening meals and of course, in keeping with British tradition, afternoon tea.

Unwind with after-dinner drinks served by mixologists in the Observation Car. The perfect place to enjoy a mix of entertainment in stylish surroundings.

The Britannic Explorer prides itself on offering a superior experience, journeying through the Great British landscape from lush greenery to rugged coastline, in sumptuous surroundings for the ultimate in laid-back luxury. Explore the breathtaking landscapes and pretty villages of the Lake District, with opportunities to enjoy scenic hikes and guided open-water swimming.
