Itinerary
Meeting the Tour Manager at London St Pancras early this morning, your holiday begins as we board the Eurostar to Paris. From the French capital, we continue by rail to Hendaye in the far southwest of the country. We are then transferred by coach, just across the estuary and the Spanish border, to our base - the attractive coastal town of Hondarribia.
With historic plazas and traditional houses sporting brightly painted wooden shutters and flowerboxes, Hondarribia epitomises the charm and vibrancy of the Basque Country. After checking in to our central hotel for seven nights, we have dinner together this evening.

The holiday was made even better by the travel manager, Steve, who went the extra mile to ensure that we saw as much of the area as possible when on the excursions.

A splendid Team Leader, Steve Kimber. He was so friendly & good natured & alert to any special needs ( eg mobility, diet) in the group. We were given information at every turn, without being patronised or swamped. Lovely hotel, great location & no travel "hiccups" Bravo, GRJ!

Really lovely holiday with great excursions and also welcome rest days when we could be free. Hotel really accommodating with excellent food. Only spoilt by the expectation of tipping the tour manager - totally embarrassing and puts him/her on an unequal footing.
