Itinerary
Our Tuscan getaway starts at London St Pancras, where we meet our Tour Manager and the rest of our group before joining the Eurostar service to Paris. Travelling in style in spacious Eurostar Plus, we're served a light meal at our comfortable seats.
Changing trains in Paris, we continue our journey in First Class rail across France, passing the Italian Alps to the elegant city of Turin, where we spend the night. After checking in to our hotel in the heart of Turin's historic centre, we gather for a three-course dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Having rarely travelled by train, we enjoyed our first experience of a Rail Tour. Our Tour Manager, Roger, was great and we had a lovely group of fellow travellers. The First Class rail journeys were excellent with tickets seating and transfers all well organised as were the train and coach excursions from our Italian base. The stopover hotels were very good and the hotel for our week's stay adequate to good.
