Black Sea Cruises

Settled at the confluence of the Balkans, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Western Asia, the Black Sea is the starting point for many of Europe's great rivers; the Danube, Dnieper, Southern Bug, Dniester, Don, and the Rioni. Our cruises follow the path of the Danube, exploring the intricacies and unusual elements at the very beginning of this mighty waterway that few get to experience.

Uncover the natural mysteries of the Danube Delta, the bestpreserved of its kind on the whole continent and which provides sanctuary to many rare and endangered animal species, explore historic cities that have thrived along these attractive banks for centuries, and cruise through the mysterious Iron Gate Gorge to see the tallest rock sculpture in Europe - a 131-foot image of Decebalus, the Dacian King. This stretch of water is filled with oddities and curiosities you will not want to miss.

Located in the eastern part of Europe, the Black Sea is connected to the Mediterranean and bordered by six countries - Turkey, Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia and the Ukraine.  Rich in culture and scenery, your Black Sea itinerary will give you the chance to explore stunning palaces, soak up the colorful history and marvel at the nature's raw beauty. Admire the architecture, which reflects the area's historical occupation by the Vikings, Byzantines and Ottomans or enjoy an afternoon of people-watching in one of the beachside bars or restaurants. Political unrest and recent conflict make this area quite unpredictable, and as a result, your itinerary may change and/or certain ports of call may be canceled if deemed unsafe.
