Escorted Rail Tours to Santorini
A charming Aegean island
Situated in the Aegean Sea about 120 miles from the Greek mainland, the tiny island of Santorini boasts some of the finest scenery in all of Greece. The island is the largest of the Cyclades group, which were split asunder and were partially destroyed after a truly enormous volcanic explosion several thousand years ago. There is now a rectangular lagoon between the islands, flanked by a vast wall of spectacular multi-coloured cliffs.
