Become a Cruise Transfer Tour Manager

What you'll do

Do you love to travel? Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experience and creating unforgettable first and last impressions?

In this important role, you'll be the friendly face that escorts customers to and from their luxury river cruise ship on scenic rail journeys. Meeting them at London St Pancras or their final port of call, you will ensure smooth transfers across Europe.

Your role is to provide our customers with support, reassurance and a smile every step of the way, helping them feel relaxed, informed and excited about their holiday.

You will coordinate with the Cruise Management teams to ensure a seamless handover and be part of a company that believes every moment matters, from the first hello to the final farewell.

Our Cruise Transfer Tour Managers are self-employed, and the role is part-time and seasonal from March to December.

If you love travelling to beautiful destinations across Europe, want to be part of a passionate and supportive team, and make a real difference in guests' holiday experience, we'd love to hear from you.

What we're looking for

Do you love travel and meeting new people? If so, this could be the perfect role for you. You'll need excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to remain calm and confident under pressure.

You need to be a team player, be great at building rapport with customers, and have a proactive, can-do attitude. Previous customer service or travel experience is a plus but by no means essential because you'll be trained on how to be a great Cruise Transfer Tour Manager.

What we'll do for you

We'll provide you with full training on how to be a great Cruise Transfer Tour Manager. Don't worry if you've never done anything like this before - we'll support you every step of the way. We provide Tour Manager guides that will contain everything you need to know to escort a group effectively.

Our team in York is available round the clock to support you in case of any unexpected events that might happen while you're escorting your group. We also host annual get-togethers where you meet other Tour Managers and members of the Executive team where you're updated on new itineraries and have the opportunity to offer feedback of your own. Plus, you get to see Europe, get to know our wonderful customers and learn more about the fantastic destinations we visit.
