About the tour
From the name that brought you Rocky Mountaineer comes Canyon Spirit, America's premier luxury train. On this rail journey, set out on Canyon Spirit's flagship route, traveling from Moab, Utah, to Denver, Colorado, on a scenic, daylight-only route.
Soak up sights of sprawling dessert, towering cliffs and unique rock formations before delving into canyons and following the Colorado River into the towering Rocky Mountains. The journey is made all the more special by top-tier service and regionally inspired cuisine onboard and an overnight in the resort town of Glenwood Springs.

Your journey from the red rocks of Utah's deserts to the dramatic mountain scenery of Colorado begins today in Moab. Arrive at Moab's train station in the afternoon to step aboard Canyon Spirit and take your comfortable, reclining seat in a domed-glass carriage. This luxury train makes sightseeing a priority and provides opportunities from every angle - including from an open-air viewing platform.
Settle in as the beautiful rock formations and towering red cliffs of Moab fade into the backdrop, and enjoy the stories of Utah's history from the host assigned to your carriage. In addition to recounting the past, your host also points out scenic highlights as the route unfolds.
Dinner is served at your seat, meaning you never miss a moment of grandeur as the train crosses the Colorado border and head toward Glenwood Springs, where you stay for the night.
