Your opinion matters
We conduct annual internal staff surveys to see what you think about working for Great Rail Journeys and the ways that we can make your experience even better. Staff are asked to complete an anonymous survey, filled with questions designed to help us improve the company for you, whether that be company benefits, working environment or providing the right tools/skills for the job.
Promoting your achievements
We expect our staff to be committed, accurate, hard-working and take pride in their work and in return we look to offer benefits and a working environment in which they feel valued. We value commitment and will provide our staff with expert knowledge, skills and training they can use in their role and future career. We also look to promote from within, after all, no one is likely to know the company better than those that have already worked for us.
Great Rail Journeys has an ongoing affiliation and support with the UK based charity Railway Children, which aims to help children both in the UK and in India that may find themselves homeless or working in and around railway stations.
We also hold monthly charity events for a different charity every month, with plenty of cakes, games and fun. These events are a chance to wear something more casual and let your hair down, with all proceeds going to some great causes.
In 2015 we raised over £8,500 for 12 worthwhile causes and over £12,000 for Railway Children.
