Our guests can choose their preferred level of luxury aboard the Tsar's Gold
Guests of Great Rail Journeys travelling the Trans-Siberian Railway are allocated a Superior sleeping cabin but may optionally upgrade to a Superior Plus cabin or, for the ultimate luxury travel experience, a Nostalgic Comfort cabin.
The recently-refurbished Superior cabins are air-conditioned and comfortably sleep two guests in lower single berths, each with an individual reading lamp. Ample luggage storage space is provided, and a table is situated beneath the cabin's window. Each carriage features nine Superior cabins and shared washroom facilities. Every second Superior sleeper carriage also features a shower room.
Also recently refurbished, Superior Plus cabins offer our guests all of the benefits of Superior cabins but with additional space; there are only eight Superior Plus cabins to a carriage. Each Superior Plus carriage also features its own exclusive shower room.
Lavishly decorated and furnished in vintage Soviet style, air-conditioned Nostalgic Comfort cabins are generously-sized and feature two large sleeping berths; an upper and a lower. Additional sofa-style seating enables our guests to relax and admire the ever-changing view from their window, and a combined CD/DVD player is also provided. Nostalgic Comfort cabins have an adjacent shower and washroom shared only with the neighbouring cabin and further washroom facilities are located at the end of the carriage.
