The spectacular St Ives Bay Line is a 4.25-mile railroad trip that connects the tranquil village of St Erth with picturesque fishing harbor of St Ives in Cornwall, England.  This romantic train ride passes the Cornish coast, where you can spot sea birds, before it crosses the Carbis Bay Viaduct and begins its descent into St Ives Station. Insider tip: try to get a seat on the right-hand side of the train from St. Erth - the views across the sea are incredible!

With over 200 years of history, the Ffestiniog Railroad is the world's oldest narrow-gauge railroad.  This  historic 13.5-mile train ride will take you from the harbor in Porthmadog to the slate-quarrying town of Blaenau Ffestiniog.  This scenic train journey will take you over 700 feet above sea level into the stunning mountains, through serene pastures and past picturesque lakes and waterfalls.  The railroad still operates three of their original locomotives, which are more than 150 years-old!
