Your unique journey begins with your flight from London to Venice.

Rail London - Venice (2 Days)

Or, you can choose to ride the rails all the way from London to Venice on this two day train journey. Take the Eurostar from London St Pancras to Paris Nord, and travel from Paris Gare de Lyon to Geneva. From Geneva take the train to Montreux where you'll spend the night. The next day take the train form Montreux to Brig, from Brig to Milan and from Milan to Venice.

On arrival in pretty Venice you'll be transferred by water taxi to your hotel, the perfect introduction to the water city. Pick one of our specially chosen hotels, either 4* or 5* , on a B&B basis.

You can enjoy a free day in Venice today, discovering the famous water city by water taxi or gondola, and wandering around the historic squares to see life like a local. Take some time to relax in one of the city's many cafes or bars and enjoy an Italian coffee in the footsteps of some famous visitors. Alternatively, choose one of our optional excursions to get to know the city and beyond.

Day 3 - Venice

Free day in Venice

Relax on your second free day in Venice and take it easy in the romantic water city. Cross the old bridges over the canals and explore the narrow streets. Check out the gothic architecture and watch Venetian life go by, and visit a museum or two for some insights into the history of the city. Or choose one of our optional excursions which are bookable at a supplement.

Day 4 – Venice to Rome

You'll have a free morning in Venice this morning to do any last minute souvenir shopping or to take one last look at the canals and bridges, before you make your way to the station for the next part of your journey by train. This two-hour train journey on a high speed train travels over lunchtime and takes you directly to Rome, passing some of Italy's most beautiful countryside. The wine region of Emilia Romagna and the rolling hills of Tuscany, pass by your window, before you reach the iconic city of Rome. Once in Rome you can be transferred to your hotel or you can choose to walk and see a little of the city. Choose between our 4* and 5* star hotels, on a B&B basis.

Day 5 - Rome

Rome

Enjoy a free day in Rome and get to know the city a little better today. Wander the historic streets and happen upon the Trevi Fountain, where you can through a coin or two into the water for luck. Visit the Spanish Steps and sample some Italian cuisine in one of the many restaurants, or get a take-away slice of pizza and eat while you walk. Or, choose one of our optional excursions which are bookable at a supplement.

Day 6 - Rome

Free day in Rome

Spend a second free day exploring Room today. Visit a museum or two and sip an Aperol spritz in one of the many pavement bars. Go shopping for Italian souvenirs and enjoy a pasta dish and a tiramisu as you make your way around the Eternal City. Or, choose one of our optional excursions which are bookable at a supplement and get to the know the city on a deeper level.

Flight from Rome to London

Your journey comes to its close today with a private transfer from your hotel to the airport, where you'll catch your flight back to the UK.

Rail Rome - London (2 Days)

Or, choose to take a two day train journey home and enjoy Italy a little longer. You'll travel by train from Rome to Milan and from Milan to Montreux where you'll spend the night. The next morning you'll take the train from Montreux to Geneva, from Geneva to Paris Gare de Lyon and lastly from Paris Nord by Eurostar back to London St Pancras Station.
