This morning you can explore glorious Vienna independently. The city is an effortless blend of past and present, as the grand Imperial palaces sit alongside avant-garde galleries. Later we cruise on to Budapest; a 'city of two halves' straddling the majestic Danube; on one bank sits attractive Buda, and on the other its lively neighbour, Pest. Architecturally, Budapest is a gem with enough Baroque, Neo-Classical and Art Nouveau buildings to satisfy anyone's appetite. One of the most stunning cities in central Europe, you may wish to explore Budapest at leisure, or join the optional guided city tour. This evening we dock in Budapest for the night.
