Explore Fatehpur Sikri this morning. This incredible city was built in the 16th century and was meant to become the capital for the Mughal Empire. After 14 years, it was abandoned due to lack of water, and still stands, almost frozen in time, exactly as it was 400 years ago.
Enjoy some time to explore the ghostly buildings before traveling to Bharatpur, where you enjoy lunch and transfer to the train station for your journey on the Shatabdi Express to Sawai Madhopur. From here, travel to your hotel, the Ranthambore Regency, which is situated near the Ranthambore National Park.
You head into Ranthambore National Park today for a morning and an afternoon game drive. Here, you have the chance to spot many rare animals, including leopards and panthers. There are also a plethora of other creatures available to try and see, such as hyenas, marsh crocodiles and sloth bears.
Perhaps the most popular animal in the park, however, is the tiger. This park is one of the very few places in India where it is possible to spot one of these incredible creatures in the wild.
This morning, you are at leisure. After lunch, transfer by coach to Jaipur, where you check in to our hotel.
Today is spent exploring the marvellous 'Pink City' of Jaipur. Start your tour with a trip by Jeep to the Amber Fort, an ancient sandstone building that was used as the royal stronghold.
