We conclude our tour at Pastéis de Belém, a historic bakery that has made traditional treats since 1837. Day 5 is free, and on Day 6 we visit picturesque Sintra by Standard Class rail. This old Moorish city was recaptured by the Portuguese King Alfons I in 1147, and has since been the summer residence of the Portuguese kings and the aristocracy for more than 600 years.
