New Year's Eve begins early this morning at the Golden Gates of Kensington Palace. Here we embark on an exclusive informative tour of the famous Royal residence, before it opens to the public. Our tour takes us to the elegant King's State Apartments and through the wonderful Victoria Revealed Exhibition, dedicated to the life of Queen Victoria, who was born in the palace in 1819. You are then at leisure to continue exploring at your own pace. Tonight, we celebrate New Year in style by boarding the iconic Belmond British Pullman vintage train for a round trip from London Victoria. A luxurious train, the Belmond British Pullman harks back to the style and elegance of the 1920s, with its restored carriages boasting only the most lavish interiors. Relax on board in stylish coaches and enjoy a delicious five-course, blacktie dinner, with champagne and wine included. There is also entertainment provided to keep the festivities going until midnight, when we stop at a local station to witness a traditional Scottish bagpipe ceremony.
