What’s included

Day 1 - London to Amsterdam

Begin your holiday at London St Pancras, boarding a direct Eurostar to Amsterdam. The city is your base for the next four nights, so on arrival transfer to your comfortable four-star hotel in the city centre.

Day 2 - Keukenhof Gardens

Take a day trip to the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens. Also known as 'the Garden of Europe' and widely thought to be the most beautiful spring garden in the world, Keukenhof covers 32 hectares with dazzling, brightly coloured tulips and other spring blooms every year.

Spend the day exploring the creative displays of daffodils, crocuses, hyacinths and tulips in an entire rainbow of colours. You can choose to join a guided tour, make your own way around, or experience the park from a slightly different angle via boat or bicycle. With over seven million bulbs used to create the park's displays, you won't be short of inspiration.

Day 3 - Floriade 2022

Take a full day excursion to the international horticultural exhibition, Floriade 2022. Your first stop will be the exhibition itself, just outside the city of Almere. You'll have plenty of time to explore the park, take in the stunning floral displays and perhaps find some inspiration for your own gardening activities.

Return via Zaanse Schans, where you can see traditional windmills working just as they have done for hundreds of years. You also learn about how local cheeses are made, watch craftspeople make traditional clogs, and have time to wander through the village's old streets with colourful painted houses.

Day 4 - Amsterdam

You have a day free to explore diverse and lively Amsterdam. You could take a cruise around Amsterdam's UNESCO-listed canals, which date back to the 17th century. The Van Gogh Museum is a must for art lovers, whilst Anne Frank's House offers a pertinent and moving insight into the life of Dutch Jews during the Nazi occupation.

Amsterdam offers many green spaces to explore. A stroll in the ever-popular Vondelpark is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Alternatively, head slightly off the beaten track to Rembrandtpark, where a laid-back local atmosphere and a quirky statue trail await.

Day 5 - Amsterdam to London

Your holiday comes to an end as you board your direct Eurostar back to London St Pancras.
