Departure Times

We write to all booked customers approximately 10 weeks prior to the start of their tour to advise the exact departure and return time for their particular group.

Days 1-3

To Vienna

This morning we take our flight to sublime Vienna, where we stay for the next three nights. Day 2 begins with a tour of this Imperial city, before visiting the Schönbrunn Palace, where we enjoy a slice of the famous sacher-torte and coffee in an elegant Viennese café before a guided tour of the palace, followed by time to stroll through its elaborate gardens. Day 3 is at leisure in Vienna.

Days 4-6

Exploring Budapest

We leave Vienna, travelling by rail to Budapest. On Day 5, we take a guided tour of the city before joining the Children's Railway for a journey through beautiful woodland around the city.

Day 6 is at leisure before an evening dinner cruise along the Danube.

Days 7-9

Discovering Prague

We depart Budapest by train, travelling through Slovakia and the city of Bratislava, to Prague. On Day 8, we enjoy a guided tour of the ancient city, during which we discover some of Prague's most famous sights.

We visit Hradcany Castle, the largest medieval complex in Europe, and pass the Gothic spires of St Vitus' Cathedral. Day 9 is spent at leisure.

Reichstag, Berlin
Days 10-11

To Berlin

This morning we leave Prague, heading northwards to Berlin by rail. En-route to the hotel we enjoy an introductory sightseeing tour of this fascinating oncedivided city. Day 11 is spent at leisure.

Berlin to the UK
