What’s included


Day 1 - London to Zurich

Start your holiday at London St Pancras, boarding the Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord. On arrival, make your way to Paris Gare de Lyon to catch your TGV to Zurich.

Day 2 - Zurich to St Moritz

Continue your journey, boarding a train from Zurich into the Swiss Alps. Your destination is the glamorous resort of St Moritz, year-round retreat of the rich and the famous. With its peaceful lakeside setting and gorgeous mountain backdrop, it's easy to see how the town has captivated so many over the years.

Once you've arrived and transferred to your luxury four-star hotel, you're free to explore St Moritz at leisure. A casual stroll along the lakeside is a relaxing way to get to know the area, and is a fantastic way to rejuvenate after your long journey.

Day 3 - St Moritz

You're free to continue exploring St Moritz for the day. The resort provides an excellent base for exploring the surrounding Swiss Alps, so nature lovers will be keen to explore the abundance of trails and guided walks on offer.

The charms of St Moritz don't stop there. You'll find an array of upmarket boutiques in this chic resort, perfect for those keen for some retail therapy. There's also the option of exploring the area's renowned dining scene - opt for a traditional fondue, or choose from the several Michelin-starred restaurants St Moritz is known for.

Day 4 - The Glacier Express

The Glacier Express is one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the world. When you board at St Moritz, you'll be treated to a day's worth of unparalleled Alpine views, crossing dense pine forests, snowy peaks and colourful meadows on your way to Zermatt. The dramatic Oberalp Pass is one of the journey's most memorable points.

Your Excellence Class tickets allow you to experience the journey in the best way possible - from panoramic carriages with a guaranteed window seat. You also have access to the onboard Glacier Bar, and the option of a seven-course tasting menu, complete with local wine pairings.

Day 5 - Zermatt

Your last day is free in the charming Belle Epoque resort of Zermatt.

A trip up the iconic, narrow-gauge Gornergrat railway provides stunning panoramic views over the Matterhorn, the Gorner Glacier and the Monte Rosa massif. At the top, there's a network of walking trails, an astronomical observatory and a range of well-heeled dining options that provide plenty to do for the day.

Alternatively, you could dedicate the day to exploring the town's charming architecture and pleasant bars and cafes, or find out more about the town's mountaineering past with a trip to the Matterhorn Museum.

Day 6 - Zermatt to London

Travel from Zermatt to Zurich Airport via rail, before boarding your flight to London Gatwick.
