On many of our UK & Ireland tours, you may check in at the first hotel on your itinerary anytime after 14:00; your Tour Manager will be available between 16:00 and 18:00. However, if you are arriving later, you can meet your Tour Manager before dinner from 19:00.

Day 1

Arriving in Dublin

Our holiday begins as we take the ferry across to Ireland, arriving in the port of Dublin. On arrival we transfer to our hotel on the outskirts of Dublin.

Days 2-3

Exploring Dublin & Belfast

We begin our exploration of Dublin this morning with a visit to the Book of Kells exhibition, aided by our local guide. Our next stop is the famous Guinness Storehouse, followed by an afternoon at leisure. Day 3 sees us transfer to Belfast, by first class rail where, after checking in to our hotel, we enjoy a city tour.

Day 4

Crumlin Road Gaol & the Titanic Museum

Today we begin with a visit to Crumlin Road Gaol. Later we explore the Titanic Museum.

Day 5

The Giant’s Causeway

We enjoy a day's coaching around the magnificent Causeway Coast, with the highlight of the trip the Giant's Causeway, one of Europe's most photogenic landscapes.

Bushmills Distillery
Day 6

Bushmills Distillery

Today we visit the Bushmills Distillery, followed by time at Dunluce Castle. Later we continue to Coleraine, before continuing on a wonderfully scenic rail journey to Derry and on to Donegal town. We check into our hotel on arrival.

Day 7

Slieve League and Glenveagh National Park

We are treated once again today by Ireland's magnificent landscape, enjoying Slieve League, Glenveagh National Park and a journey on through attractive scenery on the Fintown Railway (June & August departures only).

Connemara Coast
Day 8

Connemara Coast

The Connemara Coast enchants us today with its stunning fjords and mountains. Later we visit Westport, where we have free time for lunch. Later we visit Kylemore Abbey.

Day 9

To Dublin & Merry Ploughboys pub

We enjoy a leisurely morning followed by rail to Dublin and transfer to our hotel for the night. This evening we visit the Merry Ploughboys pub.

Journey Home
Day 10

The Journey Home

Today we transfer to the port for our ferry home.
