Day 3

Christmas Eve at leisure

Today is Christmas Eve, which we spend exploring one of Florence's world-class attractions: the incredible Uffizi Gallery. Home to a vast collection of Renaissance art, the Uffizi showcases paintings from Botticelli, da Vinci and Titian, amongst others, all within the walls of a spectacular 16th century building. Some of the world's most famous works of art are kept here, and although the Uffizi's main focus is Renaissance masterpieces, the collection also includes examples of Greek sculpture and Venetian Rococo painting amongst its treasures. This evening, we are treated to a special dinner, feasting in Italian fashion, with a celebratory festive meal on Christmas Eve. After dinner, there is an option to attend Midnight Mass at Florence's stunning cathedral.
