Your journey begins today with your flight from London to Venice.

Rail London - Venice (2 Days)

Alternatively, take a relaxed two-day rail journey from London to Venice. Begin by taking the Eurostar from London St Pancras to Paris Nord. Then take the train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Geneva, and from Geneva to Montreux where you'll spend the night. The next day take the train from Montreux to Brig, from Brig to Milan and lastly from Milan to Venice.

Days 1 & 2 - Venice


When you arrive in the water city, you'll enjoy a private transfer by water taxi to your chosen hotel. Choose one of our handpicked 4* or 5* hotels, on a B&B basis.

Experience Venice on your free day today, by wandering the narrow streets, hopping over the historic bridges, and taking some time in one of the squares to relax with a coffee while the world goes by. Visit a museum or two and get better acquainted with the romantic water city by spending a while in one of its old cafes. Or, explore the city, and beyond, on one of our optional excursions which are bookable at a supplement.


Day 3 – Venice to Florence


Relax on your last free morning in Venice this morning. Shop for souvenirs and take your camera out to snap some pictures of those pretty canals, bridges, and the gothic architecture of the buildings all around the city. Then take your transfer, or walk, to the station for the highspeed train to Florence. Your train travels over lunchtime and takes just over two hours. From Venice you'll travel through Veneto, the wine region of Emilia-Romagna, and through the stunning northern Tuscany landscape, before arriving in beautiful Florence. On arrival you can walk to your nearby hotel. Choose between our 4* hotels, on a B&B basis.


Day 4 - Florence


Enjoy a free day wandering around Florence, the Italian city of art. You don't even have to go to a gallery to see and experience the art of Florence, it's everywhere in the architecture and monuments around town, but if you do want to indulge in some art on display in a gallery, this is definitely the place to do it. When you've filled up on art, visit a food market or one of the city's traditional restaurants. Or, choose one of our optional excursions which are bookable at a supplement.

Day 5 – Florence to Rome

Grab some last minute souvenirs in Florence, before it's time to walk to the station to catch your train to Rome. You'll take a highspeed train from Florence, through the rolling Tuscan countryside, by avenues of Cypress trees, all the way to the eternal city of Rome. Your journey takes place over lunchtime and takes just under two hours. On arrival in Rome, you can walk to your nearby hotel. Choose between our 4* and 5* hotels, on a B&B basis.

Enjoy your last morning in Rome before it's time to take your private transfer to the airport. Your flight from Rome to London marks the end of your epic journey.

Rail Rome - London (2 Days)

Alternatively, make your journey part of your trip and take a two day train ride from Rome to London. Travel from Rome to Milan and from Milan to Montreux, where you'll spend the night. The next day take the train from Montreux to Geneva and from Geneva to Paris Gare de Lyon. Lastly take the Eurostar from Paris Nord back to London St Pancras.
