What’s included


Day 1 - London to Barcelona

Board your Eurostar at London St Pancras, travelling to Paris Gare du Nord. On arrival, meet your private transfer to Paris Gare de Lyon to catch your train to Barcelona Sants. From here, transfer to the four-star H10 Casanova hotel, your base for the next three nights.

Day 2 - Barcelona

Get to know Barcelona's most famous sights via guided tour.

Your private, English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. The guide will be happy to accommodate any preferences you have, so if there is anything you really want to prioritise, be sure to let them know.

As a general route, the tour starts by taking in the Cathedral and the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia, perhaps Barcelona's most well known and iconic building. The tour continues to the Columbus Monument, and then to Montjuic Mountain, to visit the Olympic Stadium and Sant Jordi Palace.

Day 3 - Barcelona

You're free to explore the city at leisure today. Barcelona is a pleasant city to walk around, filled with so much to discover - why not take a wander to find that perfect cafe, corner bar or neighbourhood restaurant?

You could also spend more time at the sights you were introduced to the previous day. The Sagrada Familia's stunning interior, replete with elegant arches and stained glass windows, is a major highlight, as are the galleries and museums on Montjuic Mountain.

Sports fans in particular would enjoy a stadium tour at the world famous Camp Nou, legendary home of Barcelona FC.

Day 4 - Barcelona to Madrid

Transfer from your hotel to the station, to catch your train from Barcelona to Madrid. On arrival, a private transfer will take you to your hotel for the next three nights, the luxurious H10 Villa de la Reina.

Just a short walk away from the Parque del Retiro, the Botanical Gardens and a host of other major attractions, the Villa de la Reina is a perfect base from which to explore the city. After arrival, you're free to explore the rest of the day - why not take an early evening walk to see what you discover?

Day 5 - Madrid

Discover the highlights of the Spanish capital on a private guided tour of the city.

Your driver and guide will pick you up straight from your hotel for a comfortable two-hour tour of the city. Enjoy panoramic views of Madrid's medieval Old Town, the stunning facade of the Royal Palace, the Sabatini Gardens, the Church of San Francisco El Grande and the fountains of Paseo del Prado amongst other attractions.

As this is a private tour, the driver will be able to accommodate your own preferences. If there's anything you really want to see, let them know.

Day 6 - Madrid

Today, you're free to explore Madrid at your own pace.

Explore the collections of art, armour and other artefacts housed at the Royal Palace, hire a rowing boat in the gorgeous Retiro Park or watch the sunset over the Temple of Debod - a genuine ancient temple gifted to Spain by Egypt, reconstructed brick by brick.

If you're keen to sample some local specialties, explore the area around the Plaza Mayor for bocadillo de calamares. or calamari sandwiches. For a truly memorable experience, book yourself into Casa Botín, the oldest restaurant in the world, for a traditional meal.

Day 7 - Madrid to Seville

Take a private transfer to Madrid rail station to catch your train from Madrid to Seville. At Seville, transfer to your hotel for the next three nights, the four-star H10 Casa de la Plata.

Day 8 - Seville

Get to know the Andalucian city of Seville with a private walking tour to take in some of the major sights.

Explore the narrow, orange tree-lined streets of the old Jewish neighbourhood of Santa Cruz. The Alcázar Palace, built on the site of a former Moorish fortress, offers intricate arabesque pattern work, open courtyards and a fascinating mixture of Gothic, Romanesque and Moorish architectural influences.

Seville Cathedral stands next door, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the most well known symbol of the city. Head up the Giralda, the cathedral's 100m-high belltower for fantastic views over the city.

Day 9 - Seville

You have one more day in the Andalucian capital before your departure - and there's plenty still to see.

You could marvel at the visually striking Plaza De España in the Parque de María Luisa, built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition, or climb the Metropol Parasol, a giant wooden art sculpture that has become a city favourite.

Another option is to take in the city's gastronomic delights. Cross the river to explore the fresh produce on offer at the Mercado de Triana, or partake in local tapas culture at one of the many excellent neighbourhood restaurants.

Day 10 - Seville to London

Take a private transfer to Seville Airport to board your flight back to London Gatwick.
