Built in 1995, American Queen is a six-deck recreation
of a classic steamboat designed to work on the Mississippi. It is
the world's largest steamboat, combining the best of old and new;
all of the lavish cabins and spacious public areas are decorated in
a vintage Victorian style, though the boat is also equipped with
every modern convenience.
The American Queen offers many ways to relax, including
a well-stocked library, the comfortable main lounge and the
impressive Grand Saloon, where much of the entertainment takes
place. For this cruise, the theme is the 'Music of the 1950s', a
nostalgic journey back to the golden era with activities from that
Dining is also an important part of the on-board experience.
Wines and beers are also included with dinner.
The stylish rooms are en suite, and are all enhanced with many
amenities usually found in cabins of this standard. They come
supplied with complimentary bottled water. Fresh Fruit &
Starbucks Coffee can be ordered from 24 hour room service. Our
