Lazy Bear Lodge, Churchill
Built in 1995 by its owners and founders, the Lazy Bear Lodge was constructed over ten years using recyclable materials, including logs damaged during a wild-fire and windows from a 19th century Hudson Bay Trading Post. The effect is a large traditional and comfortable log cabin that provides the perfect escape from the freezing outside temperatures. Facilities include handbuilt log furnishings, a unique dining room serving Caribou Pepper Steak, Dill Crusted Arctic Char, and Muskox Rouladen and plenty of open fireplaces to warm yourself beside after memorable days spent on the tundra. Accommodation consists of double beds with private bathrooms, cable television, and wireless high-speed Internet access.
