We know that our holidays provide a wonderful experience and
represent unbeatable value for money…and our customers agree!
As well as filling in a detailed questionnaire, we invite our customers to send in a few words to describe their experience. We publish the reviews alongside the itineraries on our website allowing future travellers to get a true feel for Great Rail Journeys' tours.
Every review we receive is entered into our monthly prize draw for an Amazon Kindle. April's winner was Janet Billings, who has been on a number of tours with us. Her review is published below.
"I have enjoyed several holidays with Great Rail Journeys.
It is so comforting to leave all the organisation of a trip in such
efficient, competent and sympathetic hands."
"All the Tour Managers have been efficient, effective, knowledgeable and friendly. Some have more background knowledge of railways but that has become less important over time; understanding timetables and national organisation of rail travel is more important. I have been impressed by two Tour Managers, Glynn Preece, who managed the "USA COAST TO COAST" in 2010, such a long, complicated trip, and Linda Bates, whose 2012 pre-Andalucian trip phone call was very reassuring."
