Escorted Rail Tours to Grouse Mountain
Look out over Vancouver and the Pacific
Grouse Mountain is one of the North Shore Mountains which are part of the Pacific Ranges in North Vancouver. The mountain summit has an altitude of 4,039 feet (1,231 metres) and offers terrific views over the city, the Gulf Islands, and the Pacific Ocean. The best way to reach the summit of Grouse Mountain is on the Grouse Mountain Skyride, North America's largest aerial tram system, which climbs to 3,700 feet (1,128 metres) over its one-mile course from downtown Vancouver to the Alpine Station. The views along the way are truly stunning as the city of Vancouver, the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding mountains slowly unfold during the ascent.
