The clock has stood on the site, which marks the entrance to the original Deva Victrix Roman fortress, since 1897, and is thought to be the second most photographed clock in Britain. We also walk by Chester Cathedral, and by the beautiful river.

After our tour, we venture to Dunham Massey by coach. Here, we are enthralled by the beautiful Christmas Lights Trail, which adds a touch of mystical beauty to the scene, and really adds to the majesty of this festive season. We return to our hotel for dinner this evening.
