The Palace on Wheels is a special heritage train providing a unique and memorable experience for travellers visiting Rajasthan. The most civilised way to discover the Subcontinent, the Palace on Wheels winds through unique countryside, passing through some of Northern India's greatest cities. We begin our journey in New Dehli, travelling to Jaipur, home to the Palace of the Winds. From there, we continue into the heart of the Thar Desert to Jaisalmer, where you have the opportunity to visit the city's imposing sandstone fort. That evening we arrive in the walled city of Jodhpur. The next day we arrive in Sawai Madhopur, where we visit the Ranthambhor National Park. Our next stop is Udaipur, followed by Bharatpur and finally Agra, home of the iconic Taj Mahal.
